Join Mat-Su United for Progress at the Colony Days Parade
Join Mat-Su United for Progress for our Colony Days Parade float entry as we celebrate this year’s theme: “Rooted in Community” with our own message — “Root for Our Community — Vote!”
We’re looking for people to walk the parade route, sing along the way, and help bring energy and joy to downtown Palmer. If you’d rather not walk, you’re welcome to ride on the float instead.
Bring your kazoos, drums, tambourines, or any fun musical instruments you have. This is a chance to celebrate Palmer, lift up our community, and encourage civic participation in a positive, welcoming way.
We encourage you to come dressed as your favorite vegetable or flower or if so inclined as a ballot or ballot box.
Come help us make some noise, spread some joy, and show that strong communities grow when people participate!
Parade Starts at 11, but be at our float location at 10:30. We will update with exact location when we know. Here is a map (see the red line) of the approximate location.
